“Castle is an expert observer. She sees, asks questions, and helps me isolate my needs, and see what obstacles are present. Castle brings a warm, constructive eye to problems. She always brings it back around to helping me use my strengths to move forward. I can count on her to follow up and follow through, with clarity and kindness.”
— Whitney H.
I’m Castle O'Neill, a Montessori educator committed to raising a generation of resilient, joyful children ready to take on a changing world. I believe that children thrive when the adults around them thrive.
I’ve worked in as Montessori education as a teacher, school leader, teacher trainer, parent coach and administrative coach. A change maker at heart, I’ve founded three schools, a teacher training center and supported multiple folks through the process of starting, managing and nurturing a school. I was an early leader within the innovative Wildflower micro-school network that emerged from the MIT Media Lab in 2014. Currently, I direct infant and toddler training at Northeast Montessori Institute.
Drawing from Montessori, responsive parenting and an anti-racist lens, I coach, consult and provide professional development to families, teachers, school leaders and Montessori organizations. The mother of three adults and grandmother of a four year old, I live in Western Massachusetts with my husband and a very large vegetable garden.
